Hotel Description

The Hilton Croydon is a modern hotel sited on the outskirts of Croydon, two miles from rail links to Central London. This four-floor hotel features 168 air- conditioned guestrooms, all of which include 32-inch flatscreen televisions and Internet connections. Bathrooms come with showers, hair dryers and complimentary toiletries.
Guests can stay in shape at the LivingWell health club, which offers a gym with weights and cardiovascular equipment. For those in need of pampering, the club also offers a range of beauty treatments. Diners can enjoy cocktails and char-grilled European dishes in the open-plan Latitudes restaurant and bar, or visit Caffe Cino for coffee and freshly-baked pastries. Guests visiting on business can stay connected via wireless Internet access, and make use of fax facilities and secretarial services. The hotel houses 16 meeting rooms, the largest of which can accommodate up to 400 people. Complimentary parking space for 180 cars is available at the front of the hotel and staff at the 24- hour front desk can arrange babysitting services, store valuables in the safe-deposit box and provide round-the clock room service. The Fairfield Halls, two miles from the hotel, host regular plays, shows and concerts ranging from classical to pop. Crystal Palace Park, 4.5 miles away, features a dinosaur theme park and boasts one of the largest mazes in the country. London Gatwick Airport is 16 miles away, and can be reached by car in approximately 30 minutes.

Central London can be reached in approximately 20 minutes via train from East Croydon station. Central Croydon is linked to Beckenham Junction and Wimbledon via tram. Driving directions: From the airport, follow signs for A23 Central London. Once on the A23, follow the road for 15 miles. The hotel is located beside the road in Croydon.
